Unlike the industry standard of 72+ hours, our psychiatrist sees clients within 2 hours of admission. Most clients requiring medical detox can begin their medically supervised detoxification within hours of their initial contact, depending on bed availability and medical assessment.
Your intake assessment is conducted by a collaborative team, including a licensed therapist, psychiatrist, and case manager, who work together on your first day. This comprehensive approach enables us to understand your unique medical needs, substance use history, and withdrawal risk from multiple clinical perspectives. We’ll discuss your substance use patterns, assess your current withdrawal symptoms, and determine the appropriate medical protocols for your detoxification. For medical detox clients, we’ll also conduct a comprehensive medical screening, including vital signs, a medical history review, and an assessment for any co-occurring conditions. The assessment is confidential and non-judgmental.
